8: October 1689. A meeting of the Selectmen at the house of Henry Herrick there was a rate
made for Mr. Hale’s maintenance amounting to 76lb:05s :00

At the same meeting a single country a rate made amounting to17lb-05s-08 and Andrew
Elliott being joined with them a commissioner
