1689-04-04[Selectmen April 4, 1689] At a meeting of the Selectmen the 4t of April 1689 then received of Constable Wallace 37 shillings and sixpence and money towards the payment of the town rate made July 27 1688. th At a meeting of the Selectmen April 4, 1689 there was chosen for Surveyors of Fences for this present year 1689 John Richards, Thomas Whitteridge, and Lot Conant. th At a meeting of the Selectmen April 4 1689 it was ordered by said Selectmen that all swine th that go upon the Common upwards of a month old shall be sufficiently yoked from the 10 of April th to the 16 of October and not liable be yoked the other part of the year and ringed all the year except four months viz. November, December, January and February upon penalty prescribed by law and Elias Pickworth is appointed to see to the execution of this order.
