The 16 of At a meeting of ye selectmen at ye house of John Stone ser.
March 1690-91There was chosen & appointed by said selectmen Thomas Gage to be a
surveyor of all ye fences in our Town of Beverly & in particular of the
General Field fence or fences & to see that all fence or fences especially
said General Field fence be sufficiently set up the tenth of April next
Surveyors ensuing ye date thereof according to law and see to be kept in repair for
of Fencesone whole year from the date thereof.
