John Raymond sen. with [the consent of] Judith, his wife, by a bill of sale acknowledged that
th
before Mr. Samuel Symonds the 25 of May 1671 yielded up their rights, titles, interests of 15 acres
of upland situate & being in Beverly in the County of Essex under their hands & seals being signed
and delivered in the presence of Andrew Elliott & Zachary Herrick unto William Livermore & his
heirs forever.
Also at a town meeting of the inhabitants of Beverly they gave unto William Livermore half
an acre of ground adjoining unto the said 15 acres lying on the north side thereof.
