25: October 1686. At a meeting of the Selectmen then reckoned with Constable Mark
Haskell for a country and county rate bearing date the 30: of November 1685 and he the said
Constable: have paid the country and county treasurers their part: and there is allowed for the
purpose following namely John Tovy three shillings, John White 3-4, John Farrington 3-4, Mr. Hardie
1-8, John Conant 3-4 and Mark Haskell for transportation 7-6 and there remains due from said
Constable Mark Haskell the town that just sum of 02£-01s-08d.
