1686-05-12 (2)Boston May 12, 1686 Received of Mark Haskell, one of the constables of Beverly, by payment of Major Pike the full of the money rate & by discount for troopers & other rate paid or money in lieu of it the full of his half part amounting to seven pounds fourteen shillings & eleven pence. I say received in full of him for his division of that Town the day & year as above. Per Samuel Nowell, Treasurer. To said Mark Haskell paid more unto John Stone or unto said Stone’s wife by order of the Selectmen 2lb-1s-2d one quarter of it in money as appeared by said Stone’s receipt.
