30 November: 1685:one single country rate and half was [made] half rate added for the
county amounting to the sum of 37-04-02 the half single country rate to be paid in money: the other
rate and half to be paid in county pay: these rates being committed to the constables:

Constable Richard Thissell’s part is19£: 02s.: 02d
Constable Mark Haskell his proportion to pay to the treasurer in pay is out
of the single country rate is09£: 14s.: 11d
and his proportion out of the half rate in money is03£: 17s.: 022d
the overplus to be paid to the Selectmen for the use of the town being03-03-2 ½
Constable Richard Thissell his part of which out of a rate and a half in pay
to the country and county with a part of a half country rate which is to be
paid in money the whole is19-02-02
ordered to pay to the country treasurer in pay07-04
and his money part03-07-05
and to ye county treasurer are to pay in pay03-07-05
and the overplus he is to pay to the Selectmen for the use of the town
