1684-12-12[Selectmen December 12, 1684] The 12: of the 10 mo. 1684. At a meeting of the Selectmen of Beverly that was to single country rates may amounting to thirty-three pounds four shillings and one penny the one half thereof is to be paid in money the other half to be paid in rate pay: one part whereof amounting to eighteen pounds one shilling & eight pence was committed to William Livermore Constable the other part amounting to fifteen pounds two shillings and five pence was committed to Edward Dodge Constable.
