The 11 of 10 mo. 1684. At a meeting of the selectmen of Beverly there was a rate made for
Mr. Hale’s maintenance amounting to nine pounds fifteen shillings and four pence in money
committed to Edward Dodge Constable. At the same meeting of the selectmen there was a rate made
amounting to eight pounds twelve shillings and two pence in money for Mr. Hale’s maintenance and
committed to William Livermore Constable.
