21:10: ’83. At a meeting of the Selectmen at the House of Andrew Elliott senior then
reckoned with Ephraim Herrick who was Constable of the Town of Beverly in the Year 1681: and
hath satisfied and paid all country rates committed to his hands while Constable except four shillings
and seven pence remaining in his the said Herrick’s hands due unto the town.
