1683-01-26[Selectmen January 26, 1683] th And meeting of the selectmen the 26 of 11 mo 1682 reckoned with constable Joseph Dodge concerning the half country rate made April the first 1682 and he hath discharged and paid it. th At a meeting of the Selectmen the 26 of 11 mo 1682 reckoned with constable Joseph Dodge concerning the rate made for the building of the meetinghouse and he hath paid in money one hundred eighty-nine pounds three shillings six pence and to several orders to several persons eight pounds three shillings and six pence and allowed as lost by John Carroll, John Woders and John Gear forty shillings and he remains in debt to the town seven pounds three shillings.
