At a meeting of the selectmen the 8 of 2 mo. 1681 the fourth part of a single country rate
made for the country by order of a warrant from the treasurer amounting to 4 £: 11s.: 11d. Constable
Ephraim Herrick two pound six shillings & one penny and ordered to pay to the Treasurer 2 £ 3s.
Constable George Standley’s part is 2 £: 5s.: 10d. To pay to the Treasurer 2 £: 2s.: 6d.
