Reckoned with John Sampson on ye 12 of June 1680 and we do acquit him of all rates
committed to him the said Sampson to gather except for Mr. Hales rate: 78 and it is also to be
understood that ye said John Sampson is satisfied for all his demand’s of ye said town of Beverly.

And I do engage to free the town of Beverly if anything be demanded by Mr. Hull treasurer,
concerning the country rates during the time of my constable as witness my hand this 22 of June
1680.
