1680-03-15[Selectmen March 15, 1680] At a meeting of the Selectmen the 15: 3 mo. 1680. Boston March 16, 1679. Then reserve that Mr. Peter Woodberry, Constable of Beverly, in part of the last four rates in money and as money seventeen pounds twelve shillings eight pence I say reserved per order of my Mr. John Hull per order. John Newman Boston May 12, 1680. Reserved of Robert Bradford & Peter Woodberry, Constables of Beverly, in money in full of the last half money rate seven pounds thirteen shillings and four pence and in part of the single rate payments for eight troopers and one wolf and in money thirty-two shillings. John Hull, Treasurer Reserved of Constable Peter Woodberry the 15 May 1680 the just sum of six pounds which is part of the town rate which was money. Reserved at the same time of Constable Robert Bradford the just some of four pounds five shillings which is upon the same account. Reserved of John Black, Constable of Beverly, in part of the town money rates for 1677 in money one (£?) one hundred seventeen shillings. I say per order of my Mr. John Hull this 4 June 1679. Also there was reserved of said Black as No. 962 in money seventeen pounds one shilling and in rate payments five pounds twelve shillings and six pence which he saith that he never had receipt for and now out of the rates three pounds ten shillings all maketh in money eighteen pounds eighteen shillings and eight pence and in rate paid ---- nine pounds two shillings eight pants.
