25:12:78 at a meeting of the selectmen it was agreed upon that John Swarton should have the
two acres of land which lie next adjoining unto the land of Mr. Samuel Hardy from the day of the date
hereof until the full end and term of one whole leave yielding and paying therefore eight shillings and
from thence forward until seven years, if the town shall think meet, always paying annually eight
shillings per annum.
