1679-02-13[Selectmen February13,1679] th At a meeting of the selectmen the 13: 121678 received of Constable Black fourteen shillings and six pence in money. Paid by Constable Black to Mrs. Hardy twenty-two shillings: 13:12:1678 and by Sampson eighteen pence. thth Reckoned with Constable Black the 13 12 1678 and he remained in the towns debt three parents nine shillings and two pence£3 9s. 2d. 13: 12: 1678 paid to John Stone by his own and Robert Roundy’s and Nathaniel Stone’s town rates which, reckoned as money, is 6s: 8d. which payment is made towards the bullets. Paid to John Stone by Constable Sampson 4 bushels ½ of malt towards the bullets which in money is 00: 13: 6. th 13:12:1678 reckoned with Constable Simpson for all rates committed to him before the 13 of June 1678 and he remains in the town debt seven pounds thirteen shillings five pence. £7 13s. 5d.
