1679-04-22[Selectmen April 22, 1679] nd At a meeting of the Selectmen on the 22 of April 1679 John Raymond sen. John Dodge sen. William Raymond Peter Woodberry Andrew Elliott and Paul Thorndike Lieut. were chosen and appointed to go in the perambulation with our neighbors of Salem side in the bounds between them and us according to a notice given us by them that is to say from the Rock at the head of Bass River to the Pine Stump by the swamp that runneth out of Lawrence Leach’s meadow. nd At a meeting of the Selectmen on the 22 day of April 1679 Joseph Harrick & John Bachelor both of Salem were chosen and appointed to estimate the damage done unto Isaac Woodberry by laying out of a drift away through the said Woodberry’s land as the law directs.
