1679-12-30[Selectmen December 30, 1679] thth At a meeting of the Selectmen the 30 of the 10 1679, Constable Sampson paid to said Selectmen twenty-seven shillings in money of which money Sergeant Hill was paid seven shillings which is in full of what was due to said Hill for what he has paid out for the town for ammunition. thth At a meeting of the Selectmen the 30 of the 10 month 1679 the said Selectmen reckoned with Constable Sampson for all rates committed to him until this day except the rate made for Mr. Hale in the year 1678 and there remains due from said Sampson the just some of twenty pounds and eleven pence besides what he was ordered to pay before this date. At a meeting of the Selectmen 30:10:79 reckoned with Constable William Dodge & he remains debtor to the town 3 £: 15 s.: 6d. Since ordered to the Constable William Dodge to pay to Hill 2 £: 8 s.: 0d ordered to be paid to Henry Bailey 9 £: 7s.
