At a meeting of the Selectmen on the 22 day of April 1679 Joseph Herrick & John
Batchelder, both of Salem, were chosen and appointed to estimate the damage done unto Isaac
Woodberry by laying out of a drift way through the said Woodberry’s land as the law directs.
