1678-02-19[Selectmen February 19, 1678] The 19:12 77 reckoned with Mr. John Dodge concerning his service for the town at the General Court in the place of deputy and he is allowed eight pounds for eight weeks service whereof there is five pounds one shilling & two pence paid by Constable West before the above reckoning with him was made, paid by Samuel Balch out of the overplus of the last six country rates and the £10 town rate thirty-three shillings and by John Sampson out of the last two money rates nine shillings with which he is fully satisfied.
