December 29 ‘76 John Sampson & Edward Dodge collectors brought a receipt from Mr.
Hale to the selectmen of his complete satisfaction of his £70 for the year 1675 that is to say £64 in
hand & £6 in the hands of the selectmen for the use of the town according to Mr. Hale.
