1670-03-24[March 24, 1670] th At a meeting of the Selectmen 24 of the first month 1670. Thomas Patch & Henry Herrick jun. were chosen to be surveyors of the highways for the year ensuing 1670. Peter Woodberry and John Brackenbury chosen by the selectmen to be overseers of the fences for the year ensuing 1670. It is ordered that all swine above three months old shall be sufficiently ringed & yoked this and the middle of April upon the penalty of £12 for every day’s neglect & Henry Bailey is appointed to see this order kept & have all the forfeits for his pains.
