1670-03-24 (2)[Selectmen March 24, 1670] st 1 mo 24: ‘70 th At a meeting of the Selectmen 24 of the first month’ 70 Thomas Patch and Henry Herrick jun..were chosen to be surveyors of the highways for this year ensuing’ 70 Peter Woodbury & John Black jun. chosen by the Selectmen to be overseers of the fences for the year ensuing March 24' 70 It is ordered that all swine above three months old shall be sufficiently ringed and yoked between this & the middle of April upon the penalty of 12d. for every day’s neglect & Henry Bailey is appointed to see this order kept & to have the forfeits for his pains.
