It is ordered at a meeting of the Selectmen that Lieut. Dixsy & Humphrey Woodberry shall
gather in the remains of the rate committed to them in the year 1665 for Mr. Hale’s maintenance and
to reserve the surplus of £65 for the Company’s use & in case any deny to pay to take the Constable
and destrain, the selectmen authorizing of them.
It is also ordered by the selectmen at the same meeting that Wm. Dodge sen. & John Patch
gather in the remains of the Rate made & committed to them for Mr. Hale’s maintenance in the year
1666 & reserve the surplus of £70 for the company’s use and to act as abovesaid by the same
authority.
It is also ordered by the selectmen that John Dodge sen. & William Rayment gather in the
remains of the rate committed to them for Mr. Hale’s maintenance in the year 1667 reserving the
surplus of £70 for the company’s use and to use authority if need require.
