1675-09-03It is agreed between the town of and Zachariah Herrick the third day of September ‘75 that he is to have £8 by the Constable William Rayment out of the town rate for a house 22 foot long 16 foot wide, 8 foot stud to be ready to be raised by the last of the next ensuing October with windows & doors suitable to the frame convenient. This agreement made by the selectmen of the town & the timber to be bought to place by the town.
