1675-03-11th At a meeting of the selectmen the 11 of March 1675 it was agreed that the order concerning swine made the last year shall be of force for the ensuing year & Edward Bishop & Joseph Lovett are appointed to see to the execution of it & are to be satisfied as is their appointed to those chosen to see to the execution of the aforesaid order. At the same meeting Nathaniel Stone & Ephraim Herrick are chosen surveyors of the highways for this year. At the same meeting Thomas Pickton & Benjamin Balch are chosen overseers of fences for this year. thth The Selectmen reckoned with William Rayment 11 12 month ‘75 for rate of forty-five pounds thirteen shillings and eight pence and the said Rayment was fully satisfied the town for the above said sum & is fully paid for all his charge in gathering of the town & extraordinary country rates & for surveying in the office of a Constable after his year was out.
