We undernamed being met to settle bounds between our towns of Manchester and Beverly
have agreed as followeth vis. that the mouth of the creek called Chubb’s Creek by the sea and so
taking the channel of the said Creek to the head of said Creek & then a rock on the western side of
said head of the creek & from thence to a white oak tree near the east end of the pond by turnup
called [illegible] shall be the standing bounds between Manchester & Beverly.
