At a meeting of the Selectmen April 5 1784.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Capt. John Woodbury 6/ for extra charge as Surveyor of the
Highways in 1783.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay to constable William Herrick Jr. £ 18.2.1 for sundry abatements
and services viz.
2.2.6 for abatement of William Baxter’s tax, he moving to Nantucket.
3.5.11 for [illegible] William Brown tax, not of ye town.
1.16.8 for John Keeland’s tax, absconded.
1.14.8 for Benja.Craft’s tax, long absent, if alive.
2.13.4 for Benja. Roundy 2d’s tax, long absent.
3.12.0 for warning 12 town meetings.
1.2.4 for warning Town Officers for the year and sundry other services etc..
