1784-04-23[Selectmen April 23, 1784] At a meeting of the Selectmen April 23d, 1784 ordered the Treasurer to pay John ConantConstable John Conant 49/8 for abatement of Isaac Patch’s taxes in his £ 2. 9. 8list, died poor. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Mr. John Cabot £ 53.4 he being overtaxed John Cabotthat sum in the year 1782. £ 53.4.6Ordered the Treasurer to pay Mr. Andrew Cabot £ 53.4.0 he being overtaxed that sum in the year 1782. Andrew CabotOrdered the Treasurer to pay Josiah Groce 2/ for abatement of Joseph £ 53.4.0Lovett 2d’s taxes of the highway, he worked out the same.
