1784-04-06 (2)[Selectmen April 6, 1784] I, the Subscriber, do hereby covenant, promise and agree to and with the Selectmen as Overseers of the Poor of the Town of Beverly to keep and maintain Mary Woodberry the full term of one year th commencing on the 7 of April instant and find and provide for her good and sufficient meat, drink, washing and lodging in sickness and health during the said term, doctor and nurses excepted, and keep and return the clothing as good as they were when I first received them and fetch her and her goods to my house when I first receive her for and in consideration of the sum of seven shillings per week to be paid one half in six months and the remainder at the year’s end at witness my hand this 6 day of April 1784.
