Ordered the Treasurer to pay Benjamin Obear£ 15.1.4 for abatement in his list. viz. 1.9.10 for Kinney Standley’s tax, being in captivity. 1.9.10 for Henry Higgins tax, being in captivity. 1.4.0 for Benjamin Lane’s ditto, in captivity, if alive. 1.4.0 for Alexander Murray’s tax, in captivity. 1.4.0 for Benjamin Parson’s tax, in captivity. 1.4.0 for Benjamin Sprigg’s tax, being in captivity. 1.4.0 for Thomas Wall’s ditto, died abroad. 1.6.0 for John Boyles jr’s tax, died in captivity. 1.5.6 for Thomas Eden’s tax, being in the hands of the enemy. 2.6.2 for Benjamin Batchelder’s ditto, extreme poor and sick. 1.4.0 for Hugh Pike’s ditto, in captivity. 15.1.4 Ordered the Treasurer to pay Edmund Trask 11/8 for abatement of William Dodge’s heirs’ estate tax & to Dea. Edmund Putnam as guardian. Ordered the Treasurer to pay John Hale 20/ being over taxed that sum in 1781 & 1782. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Benjamin Ives £ 4.0.11 for abatement of part of his taxes in 1781 on account of his misfortune at sea and being taken etc. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Joseph Wood 24/ in part of his account for 1783. Ordered the Treasurer to pay wid. Anna Herrick £ 2.0.0 abatement of part of her taxes in the years 1781, being in poor circumstances. Ordered the Treasurer to pay wid. Abigail Smith 24/ for abatement of part of her taxes in 1781, being under poor circumstances. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Ebenezer Trask £ 6.4.7 for abatement and lost money in his list viz. £ s d 16.9 for abatement of Dea.
