At a meeting of the Selectmen June 3 1783.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay John Thissell £ 4.17.7 for abatements in his list. viz.
1.6.3 Benja. Smith’s for Thissell’s heirs’ taxes.
1.12.9 for Myhill Woodberry’s taxes, poor.
1.18.7 for Peter Glover’s tax, unlucky by sea.

Ordered the Treasurer to pay wid. Deborah Herrick 18/ over taxed that sum in 1781.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Elizabeth Langdell 12/ over taxed that sum in 1781.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Sarah Edmunds 10/ under low circumstances.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay John Thissell fourteen pounds fifteen shillings and seven pence
for the following abatements in his list as followeth.
2.1.7 for Joseph Cole’s tax, died in captivity.
1.2.1 for John Edwards’, Manchester tax, over taxed.
2.3.2 for Benjamin Smith for Thissell’s heirs’ taxes.
0.13.6 for Myhill Woodberry tax, poor.
2.11.4 for John Waddens taxes, very poor.
1.5.1 John Bray’s poll tax, lost at sea.
0.10.11 for Ruben Knowlton’s tax, not improving.
4.7.11 for Peter Glover’s tax, extreme poor.

Ordered the Treasurer to pay Mr. Jacob Herrick £ 12.13.4 for keeping of a Grammar School
2 months as per agreement in two orders.
