1783-03-10th At a meeting of the Selectmen Mar. 101783. Ordered the Treasurer to Josiah Woodberry 15/ in full for ringing the bell year past for town meetings etc. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Samuel Goodridge £ 14.14.5 together with £ 16 he has before received is in full of his account for Selectmen, Assessors, committees and expenses of Town meetings and officers sworn etc. Ordered the Treasury to pay Joseph Baker four pounds six shillings being in lieu of an order th he had returned drawed in the old emission of £ 173.7 dated April 7 1780. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Joseph Wood £ 4.13.0 - 90/ of said sum for his service as Town Clerk the year past and 9/ for other services recording highway taxes and ½ day about Town affairs credit received of Capt. Isaac Chapman 6/ as per his account in last page. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Thomas Stephens 60/ being over taxed that sum in 1782. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Weedon Cole 12/ - 9/ for moving and boarding Mary Woodberry in 1782 3/ for ½ day settling accounts etc. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Robert Standley 9/ - 6/ for warning 2 wards verbally and 3/ for ½ day service about Town affairs. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Asa Leech 3/ for ½ days service settling accounts etc. Josiah Woodberry 16/8 taxed for poll through mistake in the Commonwealth Tax. Thomas Stephens for one foot of wood delivered to John Wadden 4/ shillings.
