At a meeting of Selectmen Feby. 25 1783.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Capt. John Francis £ 6.1.8 in part of his account for procuring
of Continental soldiers in 1781.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Lieut. Samuel Cole for extra charge and for labor done on the
highway as Surveyor £ 5.15.0.

Ordered the Treasurer to pay John Lovett 2 £ 2.18.0 for extra charge and labor done on the
highway as Surveyor of the Highways.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Benja. Smith £ 1.14.5 for extra charge and labor done on the
highway as Surveyor in 1782.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Capt. Isaac Chapman 48/ for keeping John Brew eight weeks.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Lieut. Samuel Cole £ 1.6.8 in full for monies paid to the militia
as one of the Committee in 1780.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Lieut. Samuel Cole nine pound ten shillings and seven pence
in full discharge of his account for time and expenses procuring the militia for the Town, hiring
Continental soldiers and many other services for the Town as per his account on file.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Lieut. Samuel Cole £ 9.6.7 for monies he advanced toward
procuring of a Continental soldier in the class that he was head of in 1782.
