At a meeting of the Selectmen August 121783.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay widow Elizabeth Thorndike three pound two shillings 48/ of
th
said sum for six months house rent for the wife of Samuel Arbuckle expiring on the 25 of July last
and 14/ for necessaries found said family, being very poor.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Samuel Tuck three pound three shillings and 5d and abatement
of his taxes on account of his keeping of his father from charge to the Town, also agreed with the said
Samuel Tuck to free him from paying taxes, he maintaining his father Ralph Tuck.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Robert Standley 46/2 in part of his account for this year.
