1783. Sept.16 Mr. Richard Obear 2 for to the Town of Beverly
to the Town part of the watch house at West Beach sold him by order of the Selectmen for 6/
received the above said some of six shillings of said Obear and credited same in my accounts against
the town given in March 5, 1784.

1783 Sept. 16 Thomas Hovey to the Town of Beverly to a watch house sold him by Joseph Wood
by order of the Selectmen standing in the fort near his house for which he is to give one cord of pine
wood in the market delivered where the Selectmen shall order.
