At the meeting of the Selectmen March 23 1782.
They ordered that a Town meeting should be warned and held on Monday the 1st day of April
next at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at the stated place for holding of town meetings in said Town to
choose Constables and other officers in the room of those that refused to serve that was chosen at
th
their annual meeting on the 11 of March instant.
2ly. To appoint some person as their agent to prosecute to final issue in the law for the Fine all
persons that have or shall refuse to serve into the several offices whereinto they have or shall
be chosen to serve in for this Town current year.
3ly. To make such regulations relative to their powder house as they shall think proper.
And there was a warrant issued to Constable John Conant to warn the same accordingly.
