At a meeting of the Selectmen Sept. 4 1782.
They ordered the Treasurer to pay Benja. Obear 26/11 for abatement of Peter Grove’s tax
in his list, deceased.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Jeffery Thissell 41/2 in part for keeping John Brew in 1782 as
per agreement.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Robert Standley two pound two shillings and seven pence for
abatements in his list of 1780, Mial Woodberry and William Pedrick’s taxes and sundry other highway
taxes etc..
Ordered the Treasurer to pay wid. Abigail Tuck 24/ for abatement of her son’s poll, he being
in captivity.
