They ordered the Treasurer to pay Constable Josiah Trow Jr. £ 7.18.6 for the following abatement in his list for 1781. £ s d 1.8 for Asa Herrick’s tax, extreme poor. 2.2.9 for Doctor John Jones tax, lost at sea. 1.18.7 for Benjamin Shaw third’s tax, of the Army. 1.12.9 for David Herrick’s tax, long in captivity. 1.12.9 for Josiah Obear’s tax, unfortunate by sea. £ 17.18.6 They ordered the Treasurer to pay Samuel Tuck 24/ abatement of his son’s poll, in captivity. They ordered the Treasurer to pay the heirs of the Dimon Creesy 24/ abatement of his taxes in part in 1780, over taxed that sum.
