At a meeting of the Selectmen Feby. 5 1782.
All the orders recorded in this page are to be paid in hard money.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay James Patch thirty shillings in part for keeping of Miriam
Presson’s child the year passed as per agreement.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Francis Smith twelve shillings for his account for carpentering
on William Grove’s house where Samuel Giles lives.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Lieut. Theophilus Herrick four pound twelve shillings and for
pence together with 26/ he received of the Town’s money he received by subscription in the year
1778 is in full of his account for beef & grain he let the soldiers’ families in 1781.
