1781-01-15th At the Meeting of the Selectmen Jan. 151781. They adjusted accounts with Henry Herrick executrix to Henry Herrick Esq., Treasurer of the Town of Beverly and said accounts stand as followeth by a balance due at the last adjustment2365.07.4 by the amount of orders and accounts this day examined and allowed66293.17.10 to a balance due from the several Constables as per Treasurer’s books21595.8.9 to the Treasurer’s premiums for receiving and paying 66593 £ 17.10d832.8.3 for an allowance for hiring money90 £121177.4.2 foot of debt120621.1.3 to balance due to the Treasurer errors excepted556.2.11 Henry Herrick, executrix Ordered the Treasurer to pay Joseph Baker seventeen pounds for abatement of his son’s poll in the first Beef Tax, he being in captivity. Ordered the Treasurer to pay to the executor of Henry Herrick Esq., deceased, the sum of five hundred and fifty-six pound two shillings in full of the balance found due to the said Henry Herrick Esq. in settling his account as Town Treasurer etc.
