At a meeting of the Selectmen Sept. 4 1781.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay wid. Deborah Herrick six shillings, abatement of her hard money
tax on account of losses at sea.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay the wid. Margery Larcom eight shillings and three pence in one
order and sixteen and three pence in an other order in part for keeping of Joseph Larcom in 1781.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Henry Herrick nine pound on account of keeping the grammar
school in part.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay John Fielder twenty-five shillings in part for house rent for

Benjamin Pickett’s family which commenced on the 7 of May 1781 and agreed to give said Fielder
twelve dollars a year for the same.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Capt. Zebulon Foster four pounds two shillings and ten pence
in full for house rent for Benjamin Pickett’s family in his house expiring in May 1781.
