The Selectmen ordered the Town Meeting should be warned and held on Friday the 13 day
of July instant at one half an hour after four o’clock afternoon at the stated place for holding Town
Meeting in said Town.
To see what measures the Town will come into for the procuring the militia sent for from this Town
for to join the Army of the United States of America agreeable to a resolve of the General Court of

the 30 of June last and raise money for that purpose and act any thing relative to that affair as they
shall think proper and there was a warrant issued out to Constable Benjamin Obear to warn the Ferry,
Farms & Bald Hill Ward or District, and one ditto Ebenezer Trask, a constable to verbally warn Royal
Side [Ryal Side] and Bass River Districts accordingly.
