At a meeting of the Selectmen May 10 1781.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay John Stacy £ 126 it being for 7 days service for the Town as one
of the Committee for Procuring the Militia in 1780 @ £ 18 per day.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Capt. John Woodberry eighty-four pound three shillings in full
of his account for procuring the militia in 1780.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Capt. Joseph Rae one hundred sixty pounds £ 127 of it for six
days and ½ procuring militia, hiring money and classing the Inhabitants of this Town and £ 37 for
horse hire etc.
