At a meeting of the Selectmen May 141781.
Capt. James Lovett their Town Treasurer came to an adjustment of his account and they stand as
followeth. Viz.
by his account of orders paid and disbursements of money paid for the Town’s£ 95998.15.0
use this day examined and allowed to this day 1199.19
by the Treasurer premium for receiving and paying of £95998.15.0d 3d per 97198.14.0
foot of credit. 179939.5.5
£ 82720.11.5
And there appears to be due to the Town from said Treasurer the sum of eighty-
two thousand seven hundred and forty pounds eleven shillings and five pence
to balance the same in the old currency.

At a meeting of the Selectmen May 14 1781.
They ordered the Treasurer to pay Lieut. Samuel Cole twelve hundred fifteen pounds it being
for money he paid for hiring of the militia in the year 1778.
