At a meeting of the Selectmen Decbr. 51781.
Ordered the Treasury to pay James Woodberry 40/ hard money in full for his account for
supplying Joseph Pickett Jr.’s family, he being a soldier in the Continental Army.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Robert Standley five pound sixteen shillings and eight pence
hard money 82/8 of said sum for keeping John Brew fifteen weeks and 28/ for two shirts for him and
6/ for a pair of breeches for him.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Robert Standley forty-eight shillings for abatement in his list in
1780 as followeth. Viz..
5/ for Jonathan Presson’s son’s poll tax, died abroad.
5/ for Anna Lovett’s son’s poll tax, long missing.
5/ for Richard Ober’s sons ditto, dying abroad.
7/2 for Cornelius Woodberry’s Jr.’s tax, long missing at sea.
6/9 for Thomas Hogan’s taxes, long absent, poor.
6/2 for Benjamin Chapman’s ditto, missing at sea.
7/11 for Andrew Truelove’s ditto, moved out of Town.
5/ for Ichabod Grove’s poll tax, died abroad.
