1781-12-17 Licenses[Selectmen December 17, 1781] th At a meeting of the Selectmen December 17 1781 they granted the following persons license to sell st tea agreeable to the act of the General Court of this Commonwealth passed the 1 day of November 1781. Hugh Hill, Samuel Tuck, Nathaniel Lamson, John Dike, Benjamin Ellinwood & Joseph Baker is licensed for the term of one year from the date hereof to sell tea they rendering an account and paying the duties thereon agreeable to an act of the General Court of the Commonwealth passed the first day of November 1781.
