At a Meeting of the Selectmen June 12 1780.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay John Porter Jr. twenty-seven pounds abatement of part of his
taxes in 1780, he being long absent, supposed to be lost.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Zachariah Morgan £ 14.5.0 abatement of his taxes in 1780,
being long missing, if alive.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Constable Jeremiah Foster sixty-eight pounds seventeen shillings
£ 9 of said sum for warning verbally his Ward for town meetings three times and the remainder of said
sum for sundry abatements in his list as followeth. Viz.

18.3.0 Thomas Carries Jr., tax, missing at sea.
