1779-08-23d At a Meeting of the Selectmen August 23 1779. th Ordered that a Town meeting be warned and held on Wednesday the 25 day of August instant at four o’clock in the afternoon at the stated place for holding Town meetings in said Town to be verbally warned. th 1ly. To take under consideration the proceedings of a County Convention held at Ipswich the 19 of August instant and act thereon as they shall think proper. 2ly. To make such alterations in the List of Prices accepted by the Town and propose such Resolves relative to there to as they in their wisdom shall think proper. 3ly. To choose some person or persons to represent them at the Convention appointed to be held at Concord on the first Wednesday of October next agreeable to the Resolves of the State Convention th held at Concord on the 17 day of July last. And there was a warrant issued out to Constable Jonathan Dodge to warn the Ferry District. To Samuel Dodge to warn verbally Bass River & Royal Side [Ryal Side] districts and to Constable Benjamin Obear to warn the Farms & Bald Hill Districts verbally accordingly. Attest Joseph Wood, T.
