At a meeting of the Selectmen Jan. 11 1779.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Capt. John Low, one of the Committee for the Supplying the
Soldiers’ Families two hundred pounds to enable the Committee to supply the soldiers’ families with
necessaries etc.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Constable Robert Baker 9/8 for abatements in his list as
followeth viz.
Archalus Brown, highway tax 43 worked out.
Mahitable Brown ditto 1/3 worked out.
William Batchelder ditto 2/3 being worked out.
Stephen Felton ditto 1/11 being worked out.
